Joan - wandered onto your blog/site by accident and wanted you to mention what an impact reading your post ‘about me’ a year ago had on me - a ‘eureka’ moment, I suppose. We are contemporaries, although you stuck with competitive running throught the 90’s when I pursued my career outside running. I’ve returned to everyday running (for the most part!) the past 5 years and ran the NYC Marathon last year - a return after 18 years - running Marine Corps this weekend and love your outlook.
