Music is one of my favorite things in life. Why not combine the two every once in a while? I don't do it all the time, but if it gets me out the door at 6am when it is 20 degrees outside, I'll use my iPod. Here is how I see it:

But who knows? Maybe I can SoundForge "He Stopped Lovin' Her Today" up to 190 bpm and do repeats to it :) The idea of running while listening to George Jones - well, it just seems…antithetical, is all :) George Jones music is all about, well, not being present for life (it seems to me), whilst running is going out and actually finding one’s discomfort.
