It was great because some of the guys grew wonderful beards, and others (:::cough-Goodman-cough:::) had these sporadic patches of hair that never really connected into a beard. When we walked into the ACC banquet the night before the race, the other teams were calling us lumberjacks. We trained really hard that season, and I think we ended up placing fifth (not so hot).
